    There is always camping equipment in charity shops through the Summer and on Freecycle too.I like the idea of giving older kids control of their own money.

    Some great tips, I think we need to strip back all the entertainment and just enjoy each other company on a walk, on the beach or climbing trees.

    Some top tips there Penny. Sadly we’ve been practicing the “save loads of money by not going on holiday” tip for the last few years, but finally this summer we’re having a family holiday again. Yippee!
