I was 15 and Ghostbusters had come out on VHS to buy. I asked for it for Christmas and a few weeks before I was rummaging around looking to see what I’d been bought and found it. I watched it when my parents were out and put it away. I did this every time they went out and then acted all surprised on Christmas Day.

The cat was almost let out the bag when, watching the film with my Dad on Christmas Day, I was cracking all the one liners just before Bill Murray did. Whoops!

The theme song is probably my favourite thing. Geeky fact – On our recent holiday to New York, we spent a day tracking down some of the locations from the film – the steps of the public library, the fountain where Ray waits for Dana, their headquarters, the restaurant in Central Park and Dana’s apartment. So excited to recognise the locations when we got to them!

Ghostbusters is my most favourite film from my childhood. Everything from the effects, to the funny banter between the team is simply perfect. an amazing movie with the perfect casting, Bill Murray with his sarcastic attitude, and the late Harold Ramis with his bone dry humour, Dan Aykroyd with his child like enthusiasm and the catchy theme tune. you ask what I love most about Ghostbusters? EVERYTHING!
