What you’ll love about Mark Warner Holidays if you are 8

Hello I am L, I am 9, but I was 8 when I went on holiday to Mark Warner’s Levante resort in Rhodes, an island off Greece. There are lots of fun things to do on Mark Warner holidays, ping pong, swimming, sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, paddle boarding, kids club, movie club, tennis, kayaking.

I liked kid’s club because they had loads of fun activities and fun teachers, like Eloise who looked after me and had us all jumping in the pool like an animal and playing new games like Marco Polo.

There’s a lot of people the same age and it’s just a great place to make friends. I liked being in the show in the end, we did a really cool dance. I especially liked learning to windsurf in kids’ club because it was very fun, and the paddle boarding, because it was very funny when people fell off. At the end we lined all the paddleboards up in rows next to each other and you jumped onto them and belly flopped into the sea.

The food was very tasty, the puddings were my favourites, macaroons, and loads of exotic ice creams and fruit.

I liked the pools because it’s very big and there is lots of fun stuff you can do in it, like swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, jumping in. I spent lots of time playing there with people I met in kids’ club and with my brother. Me and my brother had great fun at the pool bar jumping in. This is me and my Mum in front of the main pool.

I loved jet skiing because the lovely fresh air blows in your face as you glide along. Basically to learn you just hold on to a pole on the side of the boat. I fell off, which felt very wet, but not scary because basically it’s not that deep and I had a life jacket on which makes you float. I managed stay up for a few minutes which is quite good as I had never done it before. Mum was too frightened to go on a jet ski – scaredy cat! But Dad stayed up on the jet ski pole for ages and even tried it with the strings at the back of the boat. He flipped onto his back. Dad and I videoed each other on the Go Pro.

But me and Mummy went kayaking (it’s hard work when the win is against you and you have to do lots of arm work).  Luckily at the last minute a speed boat came to tow us in front of my Dad and my brother, and you should have seen the looks on my brother’s and my Dad’s face when we overtook them – it was really funny. We were very brave, we tied our kayak to an anchor in a cove and we jumped off the kayak and went snorkelling. I could see loads of fish, you couldn’t count them there were so many. It was so deep, Mummy was way off touching the bottom, luckily she didn’t have a snorkel so she couldn’t see.

The shop is very good they have lots of inflatables, balls which skip on water, sweets, chocolates.

Mark Warner holidays are the best, so fun and totally amusing. If your parents feel like having a relax, they can do it here, because of the fantastic, amazing kids’ club activities. I took this photo of my Mum and Dad before they dropped us off with our friends at movie club – they look so happy and relaxed!

Definitely Sarah, MW have a great offering for couples and many people were really enjoying learning a new sport or sailing or playing tennis together. We weren’t far from the adult only pool too – so it is easy to relax and find child free areas too.

Such a fab idea to have the holiday reviewed from all different angles and so refreshing to read the thoughts of an 8 year old. I love how she comments on you guys being so happy in that pic – made my heart melt. Getting that quality time with childcare provided must just be FAB. MW always get such great reviews, deservedly so. Loving the pics too x
