My gorgeous niece was 11 yesterday so we all met up for curry - so grown up, I remember her snuggled on my lap as a baby. Mr G can't sit still in a restaurant for more than 5 seconds and was bursting with excitement about seeing his cousins. So we played zombie chase on a piece of wasteland dotted with these beautiful daisies for 20 minutes. On the way home, L slept and G talked non stop, as we reached Nottingham again he said to me 'Mum, isn't the world brilliant. All these people made their homes on it'.
